HRHR Policy for Privacy Practices

Health Research of Hampton Roads, Inc. (HRHR) cares about our patients’ privacy and strives to protect the confidentiality of your medical information at this clinical research site. New federal legislation (created as a result of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 [HIPAA]) requires that we issue this official notice of our privacy practices.

You have the right to the confidentiality of your medical information, and this research facility is required by law to maintain the privacy of that protected health information. HRHR is required to abide by the terms of the Notice of Privacy Practices currently in effect, and to provide notice of its legal duties and privacy practices with respect to protected health information.

We value your interest in our services and will not reveal your e-mail address or other personal information. We also do not sell or share any of your personal information to any outside party under any circumstances.
